A Cute Little Visitor

Hey, what's that in there?

It's green but it isn't a plant.

It's a little frog!

What a cutie.

What beautiful eyes you have.

I think this is Pseudacris sierra.

Sierran Treefrog.

He spent the day in the flat of beans and then took off after sundown. I hope he's enjoying eating lots of bad bugs in the garden.

  1. Awwww how cute. I used to get peepers at my last house. Here I couldn't imagine a frog wanting to visit. Even a tree frog. I haven't even seen a toad here yet. I miss them.

  2. He's beautiful. I love frogs but we don't get them here but there are plenty at my parents place. I've even found them lurking in the leaves of Chinese cabbage.
